Connections
My art finds my intimate, personal, and oftentimes abstract moments of joy, and connecting them to aspects of being universally human. It could be abstract like a color or a texture that warms us to a memory, or something more concrete like a light, a sound, holding hands, playing in the yard with the family, swimming in a pool, meeting together for a holiday, or simply touching one’s skin. I pause on those moments: the feeling of connection that it creates.
